Jeff may be a mechie in denial, but he's showing promise in oh what do they call it, closed loop hula hoops? Something like that... In other news, he also happens to have a passion for robotics and coffee, both are priority #1 and has a mug to prove it. Lastly, it is quite easy to spot a wild Jeff, and no not because he's tall, but rather his holiday light up dinosaur beanie is like a beacon in a storm of normalcy.
Hailing from parts very well known (Illinois), Andrew Deaver is a junior at Olin College, majoring in Engineering with Computing. A radioactive computer bit him at age 4, giving him the powers of computation. He is fluent in 13 languages, using Pythonglish as his spoken language of choice. In his spare time, he enjoys watching Rom-Coms on Netflix, and solving mysteries with his sidekick, a talking Weiner dog named Esther.
Lilia is a mechanical engineering student in her junior year at Olin. Lilia worked on the mechanical design of Project Blackjack and this very website, but her greatest contribution to the team was her ability to threaten Andrew until he started doing work. Lilia is also on the blacklist at nearly every casino in Vegas thanks to her reputation as the greatest Hawaiian card counter, and she hopes to use Project Blackjack to rediscover that thrill of the first time she cheated a casino.
Hailing from what he alone considers the best state in the country, New Jersey, Robbie came to Olin College of Engineering in the pursuit of some combination of either an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree or a math degree, and is now in his junior year. Robbie's contributions to this project included moving electrons from one side of the robot to the other in the most efficient way possible, dripping liquid lead onto pieces of metallic string, experiencing his red and black period as well as dabbling in surrealism as an arteest, becoming You-Do-It Electronics's number one customer, and learning how to CAD for some reason. In his free time, Robbie enjoys matching brightly colored shirts with even more brightly colored shorts, as well as wearing boat shoes to complete the ensemble.
